WHO AM I?
- I was born in Transkei, South Africa on July 18, 1918.
- I studied at a
local mission school.
- I also went to
Healdtown, a Wesleyan secondary school.
- I assisted University
College of Fort Hare and the University of Witwatersrand.
- I´m a lawyer.
- I am an anti-apartheid activist.
- I was the leader of
the African National Congress (ANC).
- I was a political prisoner in South Africa for 27 years.
- I was South Africa president from 1994 to 1999.- I was a political prisoner in South Africa for 27 years.
- I received the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize.
