The dark night

THE DARK NIGHT/LA NOCHE OSCURA

One dark night, a boy was walking home alone. He was afraid.
Una noche oscura, un chico estaba caminando de vuelta a su casa solo. Estaba asustado.

Suddenly it started to rain. He had to find a dry place. He ran down the road through an old graveyard. He looked over his shoulder and ran faster!
De repente, empezó a llover. Tenía que encontrar un lugar seco, así que corrió camino abajo, a través de un cementerio antiguo. Miró por encima de su hombro (echó un vistazo) y corrió aún más rápido.

He saw a barn in the middle of a field. It was old, but it was dry. He opened the door and hurried inside.
Vio una cabaña en medio del campo. Era una cabaña vieja, pero estaba seca. Abrió la puerta y se apresuró dentro.

As the boy sat down on some hay, a flash of lightening lit up the barn.
Tal y como el niño se sentó sobre el heno, un relámpago iluminó la cabaña.

Surrounding him were white shapes.The boy screamed! The ghosts had followed him from the graveyard...
Rodeando al niño habían formas blancas.¡El niño gritó! ¡Los fantasmas le habían seguido desde el cementerio!

Another flash of lightening lit up the barn. The shapes moved closer to him!
Otro relámpago iluminó la cabaña. Las figuras blancas se movían cada vez más cerca de él...

He ran to the door, but tripped over one of the ghosts!
¡Corrió hacia la puerta, pero tropezó con uno de los fantasmas!
"Baaaaah", it said.
"Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah", dijo el fantasma.

Lightening lit up the barn again... And, do you know what the boy saw??
Un relámpago iluminó de nuevo la cabaña... Y, ¿sabéis lo que vio el niño?
